Kashii shrin(Lucky Power Spot)~Fukuoka Japan~

Kashii shrin  Shunki Ujiko Taisai
(a spring parishioner big festival)

I report "Shunki Ujiko Taisai" (a spring parishioner big festival) carried out
in "Kashii shrine" in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka on April 15, 2012.

Because a party of "the Emperor Chuai" gained control of the place called
"KUMASO" (south western of Kyushu), he visited this place.
He selects this place as "KASHIHINOMIYA".
And there, He demanded an oracle. It is written in the gathered document
about "the Kashii shrine"

However, the Emperor Chuai did not believe in the oracle of
"the Jingu empress" who was a medium.
Therefore he died suddenly by anger of God.

"The Kashii shrine" was built to perform a requiem of the soul.
The big festival is held in spring in autumn,

The big festival was the year when the festival once in two years was carried out
for a season in this spring.

There are abut 500 meters of avenues of Camphor tree from Hongu on 14th,
and a miniature shrine goes to Tongu that is the place to put it away of there,
and it comes back from Tongu to Hongu on 15th.

There was Tongu in the place where islands of Genkai could look
around the sea right below in old days. Furthermore,
there is "Mishima" (an island), and there is a torii on the sea
when a bottom goes to the beach.

Therefore when the Jingu empress goes to fight
She cut hair, and refreshed determination at the place
 and prayed for the victory.

"The hair of the woman" did not easily cut hair with an important thing
as life for an old Japanese. In other words, as for it, an outcome
of serious determination means.

It was full of the people concerned of the big festival in spring,
the participants of the march in Tongu. Because there is a child line
at the festival of 15th,

It was full of the parents of the children from the day before.
"Shishigaku" (A song and dance of the headdress of the lion) was played and,
After Shinto ritual was over in Tongu, was given to God.

"Shishigaku" is an intangible cultural asset of Fukuoka.
People who covered red and green the headdress of a lion to the rhythm
of a flute and the drum each.
I have admired the elegance of the dance to give to God unintentionally.

After "Shishigaku" was played, They hold a head in the mouth of the
Headdress of the lion; played.
This is an action to be carried out to pray for the perfect state of health of children.

After the event, three miniature shrines and participant of the march formed
a line lengthwise. And they left Tongu for Hongu
When the row of miniature shrines marched slowly from Tonguu to Hongu,
they were accompanied by audiences after a march together and walked.
It seemed that I watched it like a child to follow behind mother.

A line of the God good luck arrived at Hongu and put a miniature shrine away
in Hongu.

An act of God and a performance of the Gagaku began then.

"Gagaku"・・・Old music and dance to come in the Imperial Court
or a Buddhist temple and Shinto shrine in Japan

It was the gagaku that I could hear well in a Shinto shrine in Japan,
but, in childhood, was not able to understand canorousness of this gagaku.
But, however, I felt it when it was a very deeply impressive tone to sink
into a Japanese heart when I became an adult and heard it.
It may be to be gagaku itself when I make Japanese culture a tone.

After a performance of the gagaku, "Shishigaku" is given again,
while ago when a dance is over they pray for the perfect state
of health of children at this place, too.
They hold a head in the mouth of the headdress of the lion; played.
There were the child who I cried in the fear of the aspect of the headdress
of the lion very much, and did it and the child who ran about this way and that way.

And there ... When the Jingu empress won a fight in the mythical times,
I sailed it up, and I remembered the time while feeling the wind that blew there
 in old days.

I felt that myself totally existed in the time, this place.
I couldn't help thinking that there was the invisible thing
which reminded the Japanese gene which inherited the history
and the faith that ancestors repeated from Japanese ancient times
for an act of God and a festival.

A big festival is held here in autumn, and "Yabusame" (horseback archery) is
carried out. I think that I am worth going by all means in autumn.
